Week 26 (2017) Planner Spread

Hi Everyone,

So for this week, I've decided to go with a camping themed spread. I haven't been camping yet this year but next week is the start of Camp Reset, a four week self care camp run by The Reset Girl. And the best part? It's completely free. All you need to do is sign up to receive the emails and there's a dedicated Facebook group and and running too, for sharing creations. We got the welcome pack and packing list this morning and I've been busy trying to decide what supplies I'm going to use - I'm soooo excited!

Have an Otterly Great Birthday Card

Hi again,

So I'm back with my second card of the day. I made this one for the Lawnfawnatics Watercolor Challenge. I used the Otter image and sentiment  from the Year Five stamp set as well as some other images from my Lawn Fawn stamp collection - which is growing all the time as they make some super cute stamp sets. Hope you're managing to make some time for creating this weekend. Enjoy xx

Happy Father's Day Grumpasaurus Card

Happy Sunday Guys,

I've spent another lovely weekend crafting - and avoiding housework, oops! Anyway, I thought I'd share a couple of my creations with you all. The first is a Father's Day card - well, better late than never I guess! I used one of my favourite stamp sets from Paper Smooches - Cuteasaurus. I love the quirky dinos. They're lovely bold images and are perfect for paper piecing, so I gave it a go with scraps from my stash. Hope you like the finished result xx

Brave Journal Page

Hello again,

So it's been another busy crafty weekend for me - all the best weekends are crafty weekends though aren't they? For my second past of the day I wanted to share some journaling pages I made using the Ali Edwards Digital Story Kit from last month. I've just become a digital kit subscriber and I'm really enjoying the process so far. Since I live in the Uk it's much easier to subscribe to the digital kit. It's also encouraged me to start learning more about photoshop to really make the most of the products. I used the kit to make this two page spread in my Hobonichi A6. I hope you like it xx

Week 25 (2017) Planner Spread

Happy Sunday everyone,

Hope things are as sunny with you as they are over my way. I was inspired by the beautiful weather, to create a planner spread using tropical flowers and butterflies. I created my own stickers using clip art from various Etsy stores. I used a combination of watercolour and photograhic images - always a beaufiful coombination I think!

Week 24 (2017) Planner Spread

Good Morning,

Well I got myself up bright and early today, even though it's a Sunday and I am sooo not a morning person, because I've got a busy day. In fact my week is going to be pretty busy in general, mostly with work stuff, so I thought I'd give myself a helping hand by getting it all planned out today.

I used my own stickers for the main elements of my layout. I made the Beauty and the Beast theme using Clipart from Handmek on Etsy. His deisgns are great and, since I've been a bit obsessed with all things Beauty and the Beast since I saw the live action film recently, I thought they'd be perfect for a 'pick-me-up' planner spread for a potentially stressful week ahead.

My Kikki K A5 Planner

Hello planner girls,

So my last post today is looking at my newest planner, my Kikki K A5. I've wated this planner in this beautiful bright yellow for a while now, since I saw it on Plan2Create's YouTube channel in fact. Unfortunately Kikki K had stopped making it but I was delighted when I found this one for sale on one of the Facebook groups I belong to. It was in mint condition and I felt really lucky in get my hands on it! I decided to create a second planner for work but rather than put my day-to-day tasks in it, I'm going to plan out tasks related to my ongoing professional training.

My Filofax Cover Story Personal Planner

Hello again,

For my second post today, I thought I'd talk a bit about my Filofax Cover story Personal Planner. I love the bright pattern on the cover of this planner. It makes me so happy. I thought it would be perfect for planning my creative time. Like most people, I have a busy life, and sometimes I need to plan ahead so that I spend my free time doing the things I'm really passionate about - rather than just watching tv! I use my planner to keep track of deadline for various online card competitions I like to enter, as well as thinking of blog post ideas and generally working out what craft will take priority at different times.

My Kate Spade Personal Planner

Hi Guys,

So, it's confession time. I genuinely wanted to post a planner post everyday last week. Sadly, I bit off a little bit more than I could chew, especially this close to my appraisal at work. Oh well! To try to make up for it I've got three posts ready to go tonight.

The first of my posts is going to be about my beautiful Kate Spade Wellesley Planner in 'ballet slipper'. I love how pretty and feminine this planner is. Plus having the zip all the way around makes my feel like everything is a bit more secure. I've also been pleasantly surprised by the inserts that came with it. The paper quality is great and I love the minimalist style of the weekly pages - perfect for adding lots of stickers!

Meet the Planners

Morning everyone,

So for my first post on planning I thought I would tell you a bit about how I got into planners. I think it would be fair to say that I started young, getting my first filofax when I was 7 or 8 - it was a Funfax (anyone else remember those?). I must admitt I didn't really use it for planning much at that point - I mainly just liked playing with the stickers and collecting all the little books to insert. Obviously I'm much more mature about it all now - ahem!

Wish You Were Here Journaling Page

Hello and goodnight!

Phew, well I've finally got to the end of my posts for today. I'll leave you with this journaling page that I started during Geraldine's session at Cambs Planner Con. We were all given some journaling cards/ephemera, stickers and colour mist to play with and then we got on with creating. I hadn't done much creative journaling before but it was great fun and definately something I want to try more of:

Week 18 (2017) Planner Spread

Good evening,

For my second planner post tonight I'm sharing week 18. I actually did the initial spread at Cambs Planner Con and filled in the details when I got back home. I used lots of the freebies from our goody bag and the main theme was based on a kit from Little Rainbow Moon who had a stall at the event itself:

Week 17 (2017) Planner Spread

Hello,

Well, here goes nothing - my first ever share of a planner spread! Both of the planner pages I'm sharing are older ones I'm particularly happy with. Actually their both form around the time of Cambs Planner Con when, of course, I will feeling particularly motivated to do beautiful things with my planner:

You're One of a Kind Card

Hi

So for my third and final card of the day, I made this cute pastel number for the My Favourite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I have to say I think this is my favourite of the three cards - mostly due to the pink fluffy girliness of it, as well as getting to try out a new watercolour technique which was fun. I used the Magical Unicorns stamp set from My favourite Things which I just can't get enough of:

Sorry I'm Late Card

Hello again!
And so, to my second card of today. This is one I made for the Lawn Fawnatics: Spring Inspiration Board Challenge using the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens and Fairy Friends stamp sets. I'm not sure who I'm going to give this card to yet but anyone who knows me will appreciate that it won't be long before I need it as I'm late for pretty much everything, including sending out brithday cards - shameful!

I Heard You Caught a Bug Card

Hi and welcome to my first post on this, my shiney new blog! To celebrate there's going to be posts-a-plenty this evening. I'm going to share 3 cards, 2 planner spreads and 1 journal entry to kick things off. Over the next week I'll be sharing a post about planners and planning every night. After that I'll be aiming for 1-2 posts per week and when I have time I'll post more often.

Well, I've got lots to do so lets start things off with my first card which I made for the CASology: medicine challenge:
